THE INVITATION

Becoming a Christian is not a destination; it is the beginning of a life-long journey to travel Home.

If you are without Christ, as your personal Lord and Savior, we offer Him to you, today. Life is so full of decisions and choices, but one the greatest and most influential of them all is to give your heart to Him and respond to the love that He has already given to you. The steps are simple, but the reward and comfort is great.

  1. Know that God loves you – John 3:16
  2. Recognize that you are a sinner – Romans 3:22b, 23
  3. Repent of your sins – Luke 13:3
  4. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ – Romans 10:9, 10
  5. Confess with your mouth – I John 1:9
  6. Call on the name of the Lord – Romans 10:13
  7. Follow Jesus in believer’s baptism – Mark 16:16
  8. Join a local body to be fed the Word of God – Hebrews 10:25

LET US PRAY

Father, we come to you through your Son, Jesus Christ. We thank you for commending your love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died. We acknowledge that your love and our need for it. We acknowledge that we are sinners and are lost without you. We believe that Jesus came from Heaven, lived on earth, died in our places and rose from the grave, for our sakes. We believe that His Spirit lives to seal us until He returns for His Body. Father, I ask you to save me, right now, in the name of Jesus. I want to love you like you have loved me. I want to be made whole. Forgive me of my sins, and fill me with your Holy Spirit. I declare that sin no longer has dominion over me, but that I belong to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Take hold of my life, Lord, and have your way, until we see each other face to face. Teach me your ways, through your Word, and I will commit to serving you for it all.
